Regular inspections and maintenance can often prevent faults from developing and pre-empt issues with your home security system which might otherwise require an unwanted expensive emergency call-out visit by an engineer.

If an emergency should arise then, as a customer with a maintenance agreement, you will have access to our 24 hour technical help line and will be guaranteed a response to an emergency call within 4 hours if one is required.

Maintenance agreement customers are always given priority for emergency calls over those who do not have an agreement. If you do not have a agreement in place and you wish to use our services on an ad hoc basis we will be happy to talk to you during our office hours between 9am – 5pm, Monday – Friday.

We offer four intruder alarm maintenance packages for you to choose from depending on your requirements and budget. The alarm maintenance arrangement will be renewed annually so you will never find yourself tied in to a contract for more than 12 months.

Terms and Conditioners (Annual Maintenance Service Agreement)

The Annual Maintenance Service Agreement is for a minimum period of 12 months which can be renewed annually unless it terminated by either party by giving a minimum of 1 months’ notice in writing.

The Annual Maintenance Service Agreement charge is payable yearly in advance by bank transfer or cash. We may need to responsibly increase our prices. The increases will not be more than the charge in the retail price index since our previous increase. Infinity Security Services Ltd will inform the customer of any price increases in writing within 28 days. The customer can cancel the Annual Maintenance Service Agreement if they do not agree with the increased prices by giving 14 days’ notice in writing to Infinity Security Systems Ltd.

Maintenance Visits

This agreement shall cover property visit(s) as detailed in your Bronze, Silver or Gold cover as specified in PD662:2010 in conjunction with BS EN 50131-1:2006+A1:2009 and BS 8243:2010 for Intruder and Hold-up Alarm Systems (I&HAS). During the visit(s) a representative of Infinity Security Systems Ltd shall inspect the installation, adjust and carry out maintenance service to the system.

The Infinity Security Systems Ltd emergency service (out of hours) facility will be available to customer at all times. The customer will be given the contact details for Infinity Security Systems Ltd emergency service facility.

The emergency facility will be located and organised so that Infinity Security Systems Ltd representative can attend the protected premises as soon as participle within 4 hours or before the Intruder and Hold-up Alarm Systems (I&HAS) is required to be reset. This period maybe extended with installations on off shore islands and those with local audible alarms only.

The period may also be extended at the customer requested. The customer shall give Infinity Security Systems Ltd access to the premises at all reasonable times for the purpose of fulfilling this agreement. Maintenance checks that are made at the customers request outside normal working hours are likely in incur additional costs as specified in the Annual Maintenance Service Agreement Terms and Conditions.

• 1 maintenance visit per year
• 2 engineer responses (call outs)
• Replacement equipment
• Technical telephone support 24/7, 365 days a year

Fault Calls

Any request to alter, provide additional detection devices/circuits or disconnect/reconnect a device/circuit etc will be chargeable and not included in the cost of any maintenance packages. Unless the equipment has been supplied and fitted by Infinity Security Systems Ltd and a fault is found to be a manufacturing defect or a fault during installation, the cost of all engineer visits to “fault calls” or emergency calls from the police or any other Emergency Services or from the customer or member of his/her staff of key holders of the premises, shall be chargeable to the customer named in this Annual Maintenance Service Agreement at the cost of £70.00 for the 1st hour. Should the alarm system be reset, repaired or any part replaced by the persons other than infinity Security Systems Ltd, then the customer may incur a charge for the work to be repaired to return the system to its original state.

Conditions of Taking over the Maintenance of a System

It is understood by the customer that the takeover of equipment not installed by Infinity Security Systems Ltd has been visually inspected only. Should the equipment be found by Infinity Security Systems Ltd to defective when tested during a maintenance check, we will provide a cost of repair or replacement of equipment or wiring required which will need to be agreed by the customer before proceeding with the remedial work.
